\"\"MTV Unplugged es el tercer disco de Mariah Carey, primero hecho en directo, que sali\u00f3 a la venta el 2 de Junio de 1992 bajo el sello de Columbia Records. Siguiendo el \u00e9xito de los dos anteriores discos de Carey, Sony BMG organiz\u00f3 un show en los Estudios Kaufman Astoria el 16 de Marzo de 1992 para acallar las cr\u00edticas sobre la ausencia de conciertos de Mariah y de las insustanciales apariciones en televisi\u00f3n. El programa, llamado MTV Unplugged, originalmente se cre\u00f3 para promocionar el disco Emotions (1991) y para acallar las cr\u00edticas que apuntaban a que era una \u00abartista de estudio\u00bb. Sin embargo, tras su \u00e9xito, el programa se lanz\u00f3 como un Extended Play (EP) y con un VHS llamado MTV Unplugged +3.<\/p>\n
